Introduction and Purpose

  • Unidi   is a marketplace dedicated to connecting clients with skilled freelancers, primarily in the field of digital marketing.
  • Mission: Our marketplace is designed to support Haitian professionals, particularly recent graduates of our digital training program, in selling their digital marketing services.
  • Training and Marketplace Goals: As part of our mission, Unidi provides high-quality digital marketing training to empower young Haitians with skills to succeed in the digital economy.

Acceptance of Terms

  • By accessing or using Unidi , you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
  • If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the marketplace.

User Accounts and Eligibility

  • Eligibility: To use Unidi, you must be at least 18 years old. We may require proof of age or identity as needed.
  • Account Registration: Users must create an account to access services on the platform. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep your account details updated.
  • Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Any activity under your account is your responsibility, whether or not you authorized it.

  • Freelancers on our platform offer a range of digital marketing services, including but not limited to content creation, social media management, SEO, and more.
  • Scope of Service: Unidi does not participate in the delivery or quality assurance of services provided by freelancers. Our role is limited to providing a platform for service connection.

User Conduct

  • Respect and Professionalism: All users are expected to act professionally and respectfully. Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate language is strictly prohibited.
  • Prohibited Activities: Users must not use the marketplace for any illegal activities, spamming, misrepresentation, or other actions that violate our community guidelines.

Payments and Fees

  • Service Fees

    Unidi charges transaction or service fees for each sale made on the platform. These fees may exceed 20% of the freelancer’s earnings.

    Payment Processing

    Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Unidi is not responsible for any delays or issues related to payment processing.

    Refund Policy

    • Clients may request a refund within one week after payment. After this period, no refunds will be issued.

    • Freelancers can only withdraw their earnings after a one-week holding period following the transaction.

Refunds and Disputes

  • Dispute Resolution: In case of a dispute between a client and freelancer, Unidi may offer mediation. However, we are not responsible for the outcome of any disputes.

  • Unidi is a platform to connect clients and freelancers. We do not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for the services provided by freelancers on our platform.
  • We are not liable for any damages or losses arising from interactions between clients and freelancers.

Termination of Account

Unidi reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion if we find any user violating these Terms of Service or engaging in activities harmful to the platform or its users

Changes to Terms of Service

Unidi reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any changes, and continued use of the marketplace following updates indicates acceptance of the new terms.
